Kevin Robbins Assists Big Top Brewing Company in Big Purchase!!
On September 30th, 2021, Harry E. Robbins closed the purchase of a 3-acre parcel of land for development to the owner of Big Top Brewery. This is one of several transactions that the agents of Robbins are completing east of I-75, but this site in particular is an addition to the collection of projects emerging up on Fruitville Commons Blvd. Big Top Brewery spans across several locations in Florida. Their operations run from Gainesville to Pensacola and of course, Sarasota, FL. Sarasota’s first Big Top location is where the Robbins staff was able sit down with Mike Bisaha and learn more about some of his motivations for this new venture.

As the conversation continued, Mike spoke even more about his excitement for the new facilities. The intended land, as it just so happened, was of no use to the previous owner but proved to be the perfect landscape for their growing business. The new location is to feature a deck patio that is about 2,000 s/f that overlooks a 27,000 s/f beer garden. Within the garden rest two massive oak trees that Mike believes with will perfectly compliment the atmosphere of the venue. The facility itself is to take up 24,000 s/f. This is a sizable upgrade from the 4,300 s/f lot that their Cattlemen location in Sarasota currently sits on.
The Robbins staff also learned that Mike is not one to shy away from turning a vision into a reality. His journey as an owner began 8 years ago. He and his business partner (who is also his neighbor), Seth had a great brewery experience with their families. Amid the enjoyment, they joked that they might as well start their own. This impression with Mike and Seth stuck however, and they went on to grow what they named “Big Top” into the successful business that it is today. Mike adamantly expressed his gratitude towards the Sarasota County community for aiding the success of the brewery over the years. Big Top regularly involves itself in the community through local charity events including golfing tournaments for middle schools and cancer awareness campaigns. In return, the locals turn to Big Top Brewing to enjoy live music, delicious food, and tasty drinks.
The discussion closed with a question of why Mike chose Harry E. Robbins Associates, Inc. out of all the other real estate firms in Sarasota. Mike’s response that was all too practical:
“I mean it when I say, every location that I had interest in had Kevin Robbins’s name attached to it as the listing agent. That’s when I figured that if I was going to do business with anyone, it was going to probably be him”
